Symbolico is probably the best release of the week, can't really pick a standout track cause they're all good for the most part.

something about Natural Life Essence's ambient hits the right buttons for me in the same way that Ishq does, delicate and yet not boring.

Dr Trippy's always got an interesting India flavored take on psydub.

the Shpongle remix is probably too proggy to belong here, but cmon it's Shpongle ffs. Here's a youtube link to the full track.

the first 11 tracks of VA - La Tierra Prometida are psytrance but it was only listed here for the last 4 tracks which sound like psydub to me.

Natural Life Essence's album sure is great. Good listening.

G'day!

I quite enjoyed Dirtwire's album, and also the Polish Ambassador's new one.

And Estray's 'Deep Root Edits Vol.1', which came up in my feed because I follow Lump Records.  The link above is to his artist page on bandcamp. So that's pretty cool - a few more of his tracks for me to investigate.

Lump Records

ah thanks for that schofield, somehow I remember coming across this label a while ago but I must have forgotten to click the follow button. So I'll try to keep track of their releases in the future, although they seem to exist in a difficult place to classify genre wise, somewhere between downtempo, psybient, house, tribal, world, etc. I think I'll end up lumping them into the downtempo genre for the most part though (pun intended).
