Mønsterhed 41 Report post Posted January 31, 2015 Hey guys. So a few weeks ago I recorded a new thing. Finally got it uploaded a few days ago. Thought I'd throw it in here as well. It's a lot of deep ambient stuff. 2 YuriNondual and Gagarin Project reacted to this
floyd2.0 113 Report post Posted February 17, 2015 This set is for you out there, you who loves to snuggle comfortably into some kind of warm blanket. While winter is raging outside, and you are longing for summer. For this set I used well known artist, but also artists who are rising into the sound of ambient. The set itself starts dreamy and graduatly a soft and slow beat is emerging. Headphones are recommended. Namasté
AnimalSpirit 4 Report post Posted February 21, 2015 Hi there all of you psybient fans, First post, first mix.... I'm no professional, it's a hobby i've been doing since the early 80's, yes I'm old and from the beginning what I always loved about mixing was the beat match, the blending of two or more songs to make something new out of it, so yes, I beat match psybient, put whole songs or snippets of oldies among modern pieces..... So why wait? Let's look into that....... 1 Gagarin Project reacted to this
Gagarin Project 400 Report post Posted February 22, 2015 i don't know why but the mixes with textual intro are more interesting to listen. like the one from AnimalSpirit but also would be nice to read about information about a particular mix, when it was recorded, why did you record it, what you like about it, what is unusual about it, etc. Keep sharing ! floyd2.0 113 Report post Posted March 4, 2015 I did this mix for The Om Project. He asked me a few weeks ago to do a guest mix. He is based in Colorado, USA. He's a very active guy, he made a promise to himself to release a set every week by himself, a year long, that sounds a bit crazy to me but hey, who am i to judge The first part of the set is made with a lot of 'classic's' in the psybient gengre, the second part has more recent tracks in it. Personally i prefer the second part of the mix. It is probably the last set i did with my trusty Z1 controler, i'm waiting on my xone K2...

Alchemist 31 Report post Posted April 5, 2015 Last night I was playing around with a few 'new' tracks I added to my DJ folder.Mostly deep Psybient & Slow trance (100-110bpm), with a nice drive to it. I'll post the track list later when I 'finish' this set. Bonus points if you can guess them already http://www.4shared.com/mp3/NZ_NAjwece/Deep_Psybient__Slow_Trance_Pre.html (streaming & download possible) It's still a bit rough, but oh well, better to share it with some fellow psychill lovers than gathering dust on my hdd 1 Fuluf reacted to this

floyd2.0 113 Report post Posted April 12, 2015 The Dodecahedron is linked to the Ethers/Universe, and works through the higher Chakras from the 6th Third Eye, 7th Crown, 8th Higher Crown and above. It is a perfect tool to use in meditation, as the energy held within this sacred shape can raise your vibration up to facilitate connection to your Higher Self, and the Source. The Dodecahedron is an expression of life and consciousness, allowing us to go beyond the vibrations of the physical body and to reconnect with the higher vibration of our true nature. This mix, as the name implies takes a look back at some of the formative years of psybient music from 1995-2000. At a time when goatrance was evolving into psytrance, psybient music was making itself heard in the chillout floors and backrooms of festivals worldwide. So sit back, relax and press the time slip button as we journey back in time to experience it all once more. There will be plenty of fond memories for you older listeners and maybe a couple of new sounds for you younger listeners.
