Hibernation is my least favourite of Seb Taylor's projects but those ambient reworks are fantastic. Very subtle - if any at all - percussion but a lot going on.

Always enjoy Stefan Torto's works (when they're not three-minute slices of music) and this is no exception. The title track is great.

Really like Spacechillers 2 and Zen Baboon's Origiro, interesting concept with the poetry.

loving the Hibernation reworks, Seb seems to be on an ambient kick with Kaya Project - Ambient Mixes 2 also recently released. agreed that it's more dynamic than most ambient.

always glad to see new music from Ishq, although I'm most excited about the upcoming Summerland imprint releases that will have a more melodic, dreamy Ishq style.

The problem with a lot of Ishq releases is that they're very droney and almost interchangeable. Or so abstract I can't listen to them for more than one track. I like albums like orchid, Sama, and And Awake, when there's things I can follow happening.

Having said that, I remember I did enjoy Tren.

Same, that’s the sound that I fell in love with and that’s supposedly what the Summerland label imprint releases will sound similar to, that original Ishq sound.

From Matt’s latest email newsletter:

The next releases lined up are 3 albums by Ishq on the Imprint ' Summerland ' which will be launching soon and feature a lot of very harmonic melodic ' ishqy ' music and also works by ' Elve ' .

So maybe with the Elve stuff it will still be experimental and minimal / no beats, but still “pretty” sounding and not so abstract to the point of being interchangeable.

Having a listen at that and it's also beautiful, I just have to be in the right mindset to get it. Which I am right now. :)
