Greetings, friends! Your friendly poll pixie here, delivering another selection of auditory delights compiled by timeisart and Gagarin for your consideration :D

Sorry this week is late, I have only just returned from frolics in the Hungarian countryside at S.U.N. :)

I invite you to discuss and highlight the music releases that have been announced this week in psybient.org news. You are very welcome to vote for your favourite, most 'interesting' album(s) and/or share your impressions and thoughts on the music.

To encourage more participants in the weekly forum, we decided to gift participants music from our label partners! To participate  in the 'giveaway':
- make a vote
- write a small comment about your choice

Embedded players for each release are under the spoiler - click 'show' below to display them. For previews of non-Bandcamp releases, click on the album artwork.

More awesomeness from SIXIS. He retains his astonishing capability for melody within a genre that can often suffer in this area. It's not glitch for the sake of glitch at all, there's such a delicate musicality behind it. You can really hear how much he's been working on every element of his sound in this EP and there is an amazing amount of sonic space in which all these crazy elements are interacting. Beautiful use of a full range of frequencies. Just awesome really!

True Light Of Darkness soundtrack - some absolute gems on here, and the theme provided by James's project makes for a very cohesive 37 minutes of music. I used three of these tracks on the last episode of New Moon Grooves, and the theme of darkness was so strong I just had to use it for the show too. The Halfred and TRIBONE track is particularly wonderfully weird. Lovely stuff.

My vote goes to "Cosmic Replicant - Landscapes Motion". It's not exactly your typical psybient and what you would expect from Cosmic Replicant: it's leaning more towards dubtechno and even straight up techno, but I like it!

Track #2 would fit perfectly at 6 am at any decent afterhours party!

Granted, I haven't heard many of the other releases (yet)! Will give them a listen now :)

I voted for 3 EPs because I was allowed to do it and couldn't choose only one ^^

- 2nutz, because kLL sMTH and because those 2 tracks are the best (yeah I would have vote for this one if selection was limited to one check)

- Gaddy, because Digital Whomp and because the tracks are tight

- Sixis, because Sixis and because the tracks are some next level psychedelic glitch...

:P
