    Floyd,

thank you for continuing posting best of the week winners, here, is comfortable to go in forum , enter here, discover sound and post comment.
As bandcamp don't allows us to comment and discuss, this place is really handy.

I think a bit later when we have more posts here, we can invite artists to come and see our comments on their music.

As for EP itself, i am not a fan of such type of sound, too glitchy for me

I agree, I'm not feeling this style of Asura either. I only listed it for the artist name, and Altar Records, but it's not psybient.

Haven't tried Bitwig as of yet. Too much switching software makes my already small brain spin in counter circles.

Gagarin Project reacted to arakoon in When did you start listening to psybient / psychill music?
I started to buy cassettes and CDs at the age of 12. First my cassettes was Prodigy, Scooter and ATB. I had listen a lot of electronic music - House, D'n'B, Techno, Trance..
My house was connected to internet only in 2008 (and this is Moscow! )
I became a user of some russian psytrance forum, and here at the end of 2008 I had listen to psychill dj mixes for the first time.
But I didn't really enjoy this music, first I was amazed by Experimental Elecronic Music such as IDM, Breakcore, Glitch, and listened it till 2013.
Preparing tracklist to my first DJ-set in 2013 I started to understand that a lot of people wouldn't enjoy IDM at chillout stage, so I prepare some lounge, jazz and one track of Shpongle - Once Upon The Sea Of Blissful Awareness...
And when the track of Shpongle started at the big soundsystem, I've got a goosebumps and understanding what is pure psychedelic chillout is..

Gagarin Project got a reaction from snowdrop in travels - festivals - possible forum member meetings
    European and visitors,

i suggest these events to make official forum and community meetings:
    - S.U.N. - i will be there, so i can organise a meeting
    - OZORA  - volunteer (s) needed to organise a "forum community" meeting
    - BOOM - volunteer (s) needed to organise a "forum community" meeting
    - PSY-FI - volunteer (s) needed to organise a "forum community" meeting

we can define for each festival 1-2 meeting time and a responsible person, so we meet face 2 face, shake hands and talk voice

p.s. i choose this events as they are probably the biggest for this summer, so more chances that forumers and site visitors will go there.
if you guys will take a lead, i can post about this on main site and maybe some of us meet face to face. But other events are also possible. Propose yourself as a lead, and how to organise meeting and i will help with communication and other if needed. I might also send some "sticker-gifts" that can be given to the one who want

It is great in a meaning of Big Data, but as for me, I don't listen to 30 new releases every week, and I think, there are just 3-5 really great albums in the year, not 20, not 120..
Maybe I've got very picky taste..

maybe we should add genre tags to the releases on these weekly news like we have under the spoilers on Maia's weekly polls. I'll make the change on the google sheet to include them.

also I enjoy seeing what Tanya comes up with for the "dessert" section, always interesting stuff.

As everyone else has said already, Globular will receive the most votes, although, personally, his early works I like better.

My vote goes to Perfect Blind. I urge everyone to listen to this release and buy it. This is amazing stuff.

ah no Yuri what I meant was, if I released everything I have right now as EP's and then started off for a new album from scratch, then it would take a good 2-3 years/.  As it stands I have a good half an album worth of material ready and also some nice tracks in development (so a few EP's is an option right now...but this thread has convinced me that it's probably best to hang on and wait to release an album).

But I'm not pushing it at all.  Just making music when the muse is there and enjoying it along the way.  Having said that I am toying with the idea of a techno EP as I've been writing a bit of upbeat recently and I'm not sure that they would fit into an album, might be too diverse.

Album all the way also. It feels more of a story rather than some random tracks together as few mentioned here. And also agree on overdoing it. Grouch suddenly released few big compilations of unreleased tracks, Kuba, Abakus, even ishq sometimes... although I still buy all of his music

But Spatialize, if you are saying it will take you 3 years to release next full length album.. in that case I would prefer you to do EPs as I would like to hear more of your music after last 2 releases!

Gagarin Project got a reaction from andorra in Psychill vs Psybient do you make difference ?
i don't think everybody knows difference so i would like to hear your explanation.  For me chillout is not a style, is more like atmopshere, a music adapted for chill cafe/bar, chill floor/stage.

In Chillout you have this type of genres:
    - lounge
    - bosa nova
    - trip hop
    - ambient

after i wrote this, i checked wikipedia and they had accurate article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chill-out_music
