    Lion OS 10.7.5! My old Mac Pro Tower (2006) still runs like a tank as long as I don't use the newest software or DAW's. It is a thing of beauty!

    I would LOVE to use Linux for my DAW but I can only get my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen to work for a little while than it just stops working! It drives me crazy!!! I LOVE Linux and really want to switch from Mac and Windows.

    Reaper is an AMAZING DAW!!! It's different than Ableton. When I get bored of Ableton and the music feels too repetitive, I switch to Reaper. Reaper let's you listen to the music and create by ear as opposed to just clicking and moving stuff around. I guess I can just use my ears in Ableton lol but...it's a different vibe. I'm more creative in Reaper. You have to try it out...it's like a guitar, how does it feel is most important. Great daw and very customizable!
