Completely no, quality's the same. I also bought waterproof (beerproof), dustproof, shockproof case for Ipad so it's safe on the table in club or at the festival. This option is waaaaaay better than using delicate, much more expensive computer. Only disadvatage is that Traktor dj app got only two channels (if you will connect it to the S4 it will only use two channels) and there is no option to use remix decks. But size of the tablet, everything-proof case and smootlhy working plug and play wins for me. When I started playing like this even laptop dj's looked at me a bit strange, but I always told them this is better

well, hello I would like to show something I created, it's not perfect but I am still learning and trying to improve my skills. Binaural beats are created by custom made analog generator done specially for this project. for dj'ing I am using Traktor Control S2 + Ipad. It's very handy and I don't need to carry my laptop for parties.

My friend who produce dub techno music once told me about Maschine, one day I got it and still using it. I am treating original software as DAW to produce tracks (still not good quality, but I am begginer) and I am preparing loop based mid-tempo live act for nearest festivals in Poland (in fact I already done one is 90 bpm, but I did lots of mistakes in it. Now I prepare second one, better in 110 bpm tempo). And I really enjoy the controller

As a DAW I am using Maschine software, because... I simply got it with my controller, it's original and I am too lazy to learn new program Probably there is some better solution, but I am really into it and don't need to use other, maybe in the future when my tracks and skills will be better I will try something else, but now I am focusing on composing.
