  1. There are multiple kind of meditations. I practice especially zen meditation that is "simply" sitting in silence. But also it is possible to use music during the meditation to relax with. Music create a dreamy mood that make a sweet felling. For meditation I think dedicated music for relaxation and meditation can be nice, and sometime ambient or downtempo could fit to have also a dreamy and relax time.
  2. Hi! Just for pleasure, I've made a cover-remix of the chilled track "Breathing Place" (original by Vibrasphere). Made and direct recorded with my Teenage Engineering Op-1 synthetizer: https://youtu.be/wEajCk9xIwY
  3. Hi! Interresting track, I think maybe you could increase the level of the bass and kick to make your track more dynamic. It's just a suggestion.
  4. My selection is quite classic I think : 1 - Solar Field - Blue Moon Station (Nice sci-fi ambiance and quite cinematic) 2 - Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden (Beautiful and dreamy with a touch of tension) 3 - [Compilation] Highway & Lanscape (I've discover the quality chill-out with this album)
  5. Hello! I introduce myself, I'm French and I love downtempo and electronic musics, glad to find a place of the web about! I've discover Psybient.org by the forum trancegoa.org. I also like spiritual and asian musics too since a lot of years. Some of my favorits electronic artists: Solar Field, Carbon Based Lifeforms, E-Mantra... And in spiritual genre : Kitaro, Deuter... I also like to compose music for relaxation and meditation, and sometime more chilled or electro. Best regards!
  6. Highway & Landscape (vol 1, 2 & 3) This review is not about a recent release, but I wad inspired to writte a small "retro" review in history of chill-out and ambient music in the end of 90'. Hope you'll appreciate! The "Highway & Lanscape" albums serie (1, 2 & 3) is a beautiful collection of works in downtempo music published by the french label Distance between 1997 and 2001. With a really dreamy mood, and quality covers pictures, I've discovered how nice could be the chill-out with these CD. With beautiful jewel tracks by Sun Electric, Molasses, Dave Angel, John Beltran, T-Power, I:Cube... For my opinion the best album is the volume 1 released in 1997, but the volume 2 and 3 are interesting too. Not available now in CD but listenable on Deezer (and available on numeric stores): Listen on Deezer: Highway & Landscape 1 http://www.deezer.com/album/1554606 Highway & Landscape 2 http://www.deezer.com/album/1710467 Highway & Landscape 3 http://www.deezer.com/album/1554563
