  1. The new ASb record delves deep into contemporary social and political upheaval, exploring increased alienation, global warming, screen addiction and the burgeoning encroachment of social media into our daily lives. It emerges simmering with tension, tracing slow-burn builds and searching for a still point at the centre of the chaos. Encompassing glitching electronica, pure ambience, tense post-rock and several more unusual genre diversions, ASb Goes Dark surfs a black tide of dense guitar distortion which ebbs and flows throughout its 12 tracks. Dive in here:
  2. An update and apology!: Due to economical reasons I sadly realized that I coudln't afford putting out a physical CDR version, as promised, of this release. At least not currently, though it is still the plan to do so sometime in the future. As for the digital release through various online stores and services, such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify, the release has been postponed as well, though it should finally be available through said stores and services within about a week from now. Artist: Fjernsind Album: Dør Type: Album Style tags: Dark psychedelic and experimental drone/ambient/noise Media type: Digital/Physical CDR (Bandcamp for now and from mid November at latest (though I count on 1st of November) through various online digital music stores and services, such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify e.t.c, as well as in physical CDR form that will be sold from the project's Bandcamp page) Year: 2018 Label: Self released Length: 74:48 Official url: https://fjernsind.bandcamp.com/album/d-r-2 Track list: 1. Den Hvide Død (The White Death) 07:26 2. Return to Center 03:07 3. It All Falls Apart 03:16 4. RBG (an examination in chromesthesia) 04:02 5. Blue Dwarf's Hill 21:50 6. Dør 08:00 7. Labyrinth 08:26 8. The Golden Dawn 04:51 9. Electric Cave 05:20 10. Canary 08:30 A bit about the album: A 75 minute long journey through strange mesmerizing and enchanting drone, ambient and noise soundscapes awaits the listener on this album, which tittle Dør means both Door and Dies in Danish. Available for free download and listening via Bandcamp, and will be available through various online digital music stores and services, such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify e.t.c mid November at latest (though I count on 1st of November) where it also will become available in physical CDR form that will be sold from the project's Bandcamp page. Why I found it necessary to revisit and re-release the album and what consequences that have: This is a revisited re-released version of an album I released just about a year ago, the new version miss 4 of the original tracks, has two new tracks added and as a consequence of that had the track list completely rearranged and the overall playtime reduced from close to 1 hour and 45 minutes to just about 75 minutes. It happened because I finally realized that over 1½ hour play length is too much for an album, especially one containing tracks that somewhat challenges the listener like it's the case here. Also I suddenly realized after listening to the album again in it's old form for the first time in a long while that a few of the tracks were flawed to some extend and didn't really function properly dragging the overall listening experience of the album down. The old version of the album will continue to be available on Bandcamp for free download and listening, in case there are people who has grown fond of some of the tracks that have been scrapped on the new version, but the old version that is currently still available though the various online digital music stores and services, such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify e.t.c, will be replaced with the new one as soon as it is out. Edit!!!: As you can tell from the player, that actually still functions, I changed this project's name from sharing my own real name to Fjernsind, which means that the original link I shared in this post to my Bandcamp profile doesn't work anymore, so here's a new one: https://fjernsind.bandcamp.com/ The name "Fjernsind" is a word play on the Danish word for "Tele-vision", "Fjern-syn", that directly translated means "Distant-vision" or "Remote-vision", and instead of "syn" ["vision"] as the last syllable, the Danish word for "mind", namely "sind", is used.
  3. Hello beautiful people. Here is my latest offering for the AmbientOnline.org compilation. Sola Luna literally translates to "lonely moon" or "alone is the moon". Have a listen on a cloudless night and look to the sky. Imagine how lonely it must feel in the cold and dark being a quarter of a million miles away from your nearest companion. Peace.
  4. This is the most recent track I created: Edit!!!: As you can tell from the player, that actually still functions, I changed this project's name from sharing my own real name to Fjernsind, which means that the original link I shared in this post to my Bandcamp profile doesn't work anymore, so here's a new one: https://fjernsind.bandcamp.com/ The name "Fjernsind" is a word play on the Danish word for "Tele-vision", "Fjern-syn", that directly translated means "Distant-vision" or "Remote-vision", and instead of "syn" ["vision"] as the last syllable, the Danish word for "mind", namely "sind", is used. As you'll also noticed the single turned into a 2 track EP, feuturing one of my older tracks "A Lullaby" as well. This track was created from pieceing manipulated samples from an old song titled "A Dream" with my lo-fi folk project "...and for such a long time" together (I also turned it into a 2 track EP in the meantime, using an older track called A Lullaby to follow it). Lyrics: In Dreams I know a place where the wind is whispering songs humming through the meadow as a pattern on our closed lips I know a place where the skies are painting pictures coloring thoughts as the willows weep a sad song as a pattern on our closed eyes I know a place where I used to hide my deepest secret thoughts In dreams
  5. Mindspring Music Presents: A Pale Void - Machines Dream [MSM064] A Pale Void returns to Mindspring Music with an ambient tale as vast in its depths as the cosmos it seeks to explore. Having launched his craft into space with ingenuity and hope, the unexpected happens. The machine encounters exotic new worlds, brimming with life. The machine sees beauty on an incomprehensible scale. The machine begins to feel. Its mind grows. Finally, it begins to dream, and what it discovers in its dreams is eternal bliss.
  6. Hi all, Thought I'd share with you my latest submission on the awesome AO compilation series. I hope you enjoy it Many thanks to Psybient.org ... keep up the great work! Peace.
  7. Greeting and blessigns, new project same soul, exploring space into the unknown..
  8. Mindspring Music Presents: Atmoswaves - Distant Horizons Floating amongst carefully conjured symphonies and slowly evolving bass lies a gentle and caressing world of ambient heartscapes lovingly crafted by Atmoswaves, an atmospheric space music collaboration between two Russian composers: Artem Vislov (Deepness Dawn) and Pavel Shirshin (Cosmic Replicant). This deep and profound project is an impassioned rendition, similar, perhaps, to the melancholy beauty of a cosmonaut lying in the colorful fields of a faraway world. It is simply unearthly, a warm and fuzzy production that looks towards the Distant Horizons of ancient frequencies in the form of progressive psybient and downtempo electronica. This heavenly array is perfect for morning meditations or evening walks through the woods, and it offers quite the auditory experience.

Wanderer in a Strange World I wrote these songs over the last three years in the Cydonian Sounds Music and Sound Design studio nestled in the woods of northern New Jersey. The theme of the record is inspired by the journeys of gentle souls who feel alien in this not-so-gentle world. The guitar on "Ineffable" was written and performed by my good friend who goes by the pseudonym 4arms. Most of the album was recorded in-the-box using Propellerhead's Reason. The synth tracks on "Machina Esotericum" were recorded using a Korg Minilogue and a Roland JD-XA. Everything is tuned to A=432Hz. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it!

  16. When ishq started releasing a lot of albums, that didn't sound as musical as his previous more new age work, I was a little bit upset, I was waiting for ishq music more like Orchid, Sama or And awake to trip to. But as time passed and I listened to it more I got into it a bit more, and recenlty with a release of last 2 virtual albums (Strange nebula and Moonship) I finally got it. So I wrote a little bit of thoughts to exmplain his virtual series to other people who are attached to his early ishq releases. Matt Hillier is Cornwall based electronic music artist, he makes music for 20 years, he is best known for his new age ambient releases like Orchid or Sama but today we are not going to talk about them. Music of Matt Hillier has many similarities with other art forms and particularly with paintings. When you first visit an art gallery, usually you like bold and familiar paintings. Maybe it’s a sunny landscape or a portrait of a beautiful person. It’s simple, it’s familiar. But as you dive deeper into a world of art and it’s history you start to appreciate finer details. Maybe this painting is unusually abstract for it’s period of time, or maybe it gives you a feeling of being home, or being alone or being content. So a painting can act as a storage, a flash drive or a time crystal of sorts, containing a whole spectrum of emotions and memories that you never had. These small details and intricacies come hand in hand with refined taste to art. But it’s not just art actually, even take a simple beverage like tea for example. First you like big and bold taste of black tea with milk and sugar perhaps? But if you keep exploring different teas and tastes and how it makes you feel you can easily discover whole universe here. Different states of mind that different types of tea can bring you to. Now if we come back to music of Matt Hillier. As you dig deeper into his discography you are quick to discover some releases that are not musical as such, they are a sound collages or sonic paintings made of various sound forms, each form can send you to a different location. From underwater wonder to deep space exploration and beyond. Experience life from a perspective of a plant or an insect, or completely unimaginable, yet to be discovered lifeform. It is all here available to you if you allow it, with your headphones on.
  17. Hi, There are so many releases nowadays, so I might missed some. Can you please recommend me some good Harmonical beatless Ambient (harmonical meaning not a drone type, but something involving that creates a blissful texture of harmony). For instance, my recent favorites albums are: 36 - Black Soma Motionfield - The Passage Off Land - Pathways So if you can advise me something from that field or something special, I'd be appreciated.

  19. Hi all I would like to share some good news with you, I just released my first full length album on Ektoplazm Here are details : Obri – Afterglow 01 - Afterglow (62.5 BPM) 02 - Northface (95 BPM) 03 - Graphite (120 BPM) 04 - Shoe (feat. Kiki) (120 BPM) 05 - Sunday (123 BPM) 06 - Bushido (60 BPM) 07 - Aero Sol (130 BPM) 08 - Granula (120 BPM) 09 - Cadde (Street) (122 BPM) 10 - Beyond (74 BPM) Here are some words from Ektoplazm : Afterglow is the debut album from Giorgi Dolaberidze AKA Obri, a musician from Tbilisi, Georgia. As a b-boy, rapper, and graffiti artist raised in one of Tblilisi’s Soviet-era suburbs in late 90s, Obri began exploring breakbeat and other electronic music genres, but was soon immersed in psychedelic trance music. Alongside other enthusiasts he founded GeoPsy, a pioneering underground psychedelic community in Georgia, and soon moved into production. These ten tracks summarize his long personal journey into sound, experimenting with different elements of psychedelia from deep ambient techno soundscapes to hypnotic acid roughness. Artwork by Digital Visionary Art of Giohorus. Mastered at CES Studio. I can say that album is pretty diverse, starting from acid ambient and exploring different aesthetics: techno, idm, dnb, experimental beats but you can feel psychedelic all over the album (that's my opinion at least) feel free to listen, download, enjoy, post your opinion, review, etc etc, it will be amazing Download from Ektoplazm or show some support on Bandcamp : Support on Bandcamp PS: Subscribe for more info on: facebook official page

  24. Hello all. I have recently joined this community and I really love the vibe that's being promoted here. It's also great to find a group of individuals who share the same musical tastes as myself. When I'm not a listener I am a creator. Here's a sample of one of my latest pieces which features in the Ambient Online Compilation Volume 8 which was released earlier this year (which I also encourage you to check out and support if you like your music on the ambient side). https://soundcloud.com/realmuk/synesthesia Many thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy it.
