Hello, I have recently discovered this forum and I would like to introduce myself and my musical project: it is called 'Die Stadt' (German for 'the city'), since I get most inspiration from urban environments. Atmospheres, patterns and sounds are the basis of our themes, which fit in the realm of electronic ambient and downtempo music. We have recently released an album titled Le dieu numérique, which are five electronic pieces inspired by how virtual reality, cyberspace and social networks define our society, the same way religion did in the past. Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum, but happy to have found a passionate community of like-minded people to share music with. i've been a professional musician for over 15 years (guitar and bansuri bamboo flute). i've always been interested in the meditative aspects of music, though my style has evolved through the years from improvisational jamming, jazz, living in india and studying north indian classical music, and collaborating with other "world fusion" musicians in new york. the last 5 and a half years, i've been on the road as a sideman performing an average of 350 shows a year. in the last 2, i've started getting deeper into making electronic music in my hotel rooms, and i've found the "psybient" genre to be a good home base to explore my various influences and interests. i'd love to get your feedback on this song: https://soundcloud.com/cobearnicus/tuvan thanks! -

Hi all First post, and happy to be here ! I wanted to share some of my more or less current works. It's quite hard for me to classify my music in any genre or style... If you can please let me know The two first songs are more acoustic oriented, with a clear inspiration from shamanic healing ceremonies...
