Spinnet (One Arc Degree) 89 Report post Posted August 30, 2015 Artist: One Arc Degree & Cybernetika Album: Nether Moon Type: EP Style tags: Downtempo, Drum & Bass, Psybreaks Media type: DIGITAL Year: 2015 Label: Ektoplazm Catalog ID: EKTEP22 Length: 00:30:46 Official url: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/one-arc-degree-cybernetika-nether-moon I am very proud to present you our latest One Arc Degree work, this time a powerful collaboration with Cybernetika! Since we both approach the drum & bass style from a different route, it was very intriguing to join forces and see what comes out! Nether Moon EP is the first fruit of our collaboration and you can now download it for free from Ektoplazm. We hope you like it! I'm pasting the release blurb below: This cinematic quartet represents an ideal symbiosis between Cybernetika’s dark future visions and One Arc Degree’s deep and mystical explorations. Together these artists have composed a soundtrack for a mysterious place: “Behind the illusion of a hostile and barren rock floating in space there is another world, bringing ancient memories and dreams to life.†Track 2 written and produced by One Arc Degree (Vasilis Kesalidis & Ioannis Konstantios), based on samples from “The Ghost Music†by A-Duff; tracks 1, 3 and 4 written and produced by One Arc Degree & Cybernetika (Lars Goossens). Mastered by Cybernetika with artwork by Christian Becker and design by Alexander Synaptic.
yiannis 201 Report post Posted September 13, 2015 Very interesting EP. Definitely atmospheric throughout, although the tunes where Cybernetika actually plays on (1&3) are not relaxing at all, but rather very intense with loud percussion and ominus themes. I instantly got the OAD tune and remix and find them more to my liking, despite them being slightly uptempo too. I reckon these are the OAD tunes I like the most from what I've heard so far (not that many really tbh), along with Futurism. Not sure I'm interested to check other Cybernetika releases yet.
