First off, I had another, closer listen to Aurorax and I find the album pretty amazing, one of the highlights of the year for me. Ever so slightly experimental compared to what I usually listen to, but all the greater for this.

Secondly, I really like Sanathana's Saraswati, the only downtempo album he's put out so far, but I can't help wondering what an album where the slowest track is 147 bpm is doing in a downtempo poll

yiannis, apologies for letting that slip in there. my introduction to Sanathana was Saraswati and I haven't listened to this new one so I assumed this was downtempo as well, especially since "chillout" and "psydub" are in the genre tags on that release's bandcamp page. that album will be removed from the master release list.

really enjoyed AuroraX from this week and I thought Hadron Orchestra - Tritone was excellent, as well as the Ignis track. DezonCondor was a nice surprise, very trippy.

I still need to check out Desert Dwellers and Kuba's remixes, and the Nutek Chill compilation, they can usually do no wrong.

Also glad to see new music from Matt Hillier with yet another alias as Omni Vu Deity, this man is a creative genius.

No need to apologise, it was just weird. About Omni Vu Deity, I'm listening to Vuunayatu as I'm typing this and loving it. However I'm wondering why it wasn't released under the Ishq name, though this question could also apply to Ishvara and Elve. I mean Timelapse in Mercury is further removed from the typical Ishq sound than any of the projects and albums I mentioned.

A great week indeed.  I love the Desert Dwellers Remixes, Emancipator's new album, and Random Rab's new one (which I have been waiting for since he announced it earlier this year).

I decided to narrow it down to one vote, and that went to Random Rab. Mainly because I was listening to it last night whilst I cleaned the kitchen and I love it!   Although all of these albums are excellent!

The Kuba Remixes EP appears to be a collection of previously available remixes from other artist albums or compilations.  Still waiting for his fabled new album that he mentioned was coming soon back in 2014.

Missed VA - Resistance completely at the time of its release. I may not have been in the mood for dub. Sounds really good, striking a perfect balance between old and new IMO. Nutek Chill is slowly taking the place of the somewhat absent Liquid Sound Design as my favourite (active) psydub label.
