Greetings, friends! Your friendly poll pixie here, delivering this year's last (yes, this week is the last week, not the previous one!) weekly selection of auditory delights compiled by timeisart and Gagarin for your consideration :D

I invite you to discuss and highlight the music releases that have been announced this week in psybient.org news. You are very welcome to vote for your favourite, most 'interesting' album(s) and/or share your impressions and thoughts on the music.

To encourage more participants in the weekly forum, we decided to gift participants music from our label partners! To participate  in the 'giveaway':
- make a vote
- write a small comment about your choice

Embedded players for each release are under the spoiler - click 'show' below to display them. For previews of non-Bandcamp releases, click on the album artwork.

wait so this is the last poll of the year? I was going to include releases from the 28-31 in another week's list, that's why I didn't include that False Identity album yet. But now I'll just add the Dec 28-31 releases to this week's poll and so the first poll of 2016 will include music released between January 1st-10th so it will put it back on the normal schedule of Monday being the first day of the new week's poll (2nd poll will be from Jan 11-17, 3rd poll from 18-24, 4th poll from 25-31, etc.)

also for next year I've decided I'm done with typing in genres, it's become a pain and often it was what I arbitrarily thought a release sounded like. You all should have a good idea of the kind of genres that are included in this cataloging process by now but just assume that any releases posted here are psychedelic and downtempo for the most part.

as for this week, E-Mantra is always nice and I'm a big fan of AtYyA & Goopsteppa, seems like the Luminosity Project label that these artists started from has kind of died off in 2015 though, after having such a big year in 2014.

Loving the Miktek release as always, he even made the weather here suit his music! :P

The Zen Baboon EP is also quite nice, even if I like his album a tiny bit more.

Kyoto is a surprise, I've liked all his releases so far, but this one is pure drone ambient, which requires a particular mood to be fully appreciated.

I enjoyed the Airform album, but Blue Tunes doesn't have a Bandcamp page and they take some time to upload their releases on YouTube.

Miktek's EP is really a great little present for all of us!

Kyoto's album was a dissapointment for me. Although I love beatless ambient and drones, self-similarity in this one makes it uninteresting. I mean, it has to be the same pad synth he uses in almost all of the tracks, right? Great artwork, nonetheless.
