Gagarin Project 400 Report post Posted March 15, 2016 check the blog, fb for news. As i know the team is small (1-2 members) and from a direct experience i imagine they don't have time. somebody suggested me to do a similar to Ektoplazm project for chill music, and of course it would be useful, but i just can't imagine the amount of work necessary to moderate releases / add tags. 1 un1ty reacted to this
andorra 117 Report post Posted March 15, 2016 There was some problems with hosting service provider. This is from Ektoplazm facebook: "My host migrated the primary web server to a new machine and it doesn't look like they copied everything over." But now it's working again I admire the work of DJ Basilisk is doing with the Ektoplazm. Great way to distribute music for free! Would be great to have this kind of site just for psybient/ambient/downtempo/etc... chiller side of psy-music but I understand that it requires quite amount of hard work... 1 un1ty reacted to this

I believe Bandcamp has the power to provide this service of a free psybient distribution site as long as it's harnessed correctly, which is what I've tried to do with the 2016 releases table that I maintain. Just sort the table by the name your price column twice or type "Free" into the search box above the table to only show free/name your price releases. 2 Lorn and yiannis reacted to this

Just sort the table by the name your price column twice or type "Free" into the search box above the table to only show free/name your price releases. That table is very useful, I reckon it's so much easier to find BC music by year and in alphabetical order than googling it, sometimes it takes ages to get to the right page - especially if you don't remember the title of the release. I wasn't quite aware of this feature, thanks for bringing it to my attention timeisart. 2 Gagarin Project and timeisart reacted to this
