VA - Star Paths is the star of the week. Fantastic release. Those downtempo GOA sounds are so yummy! Wish more people would do that.

agreed, VA - Star Paths should be the winner this week, also it's always nice to see new labels emerge, in this case Mamomam Records from Poland.

 

new Supersillyus is also quite good, probably my favorite release from them to date.

 

Infinati & SheerLiquid sounded interesting too.

My vote goes for forgotten future's realignment EP. I love love love the journey it takes me through, starting with smooth ambient, evolving into psybient downtempo tracks and closing with three breakbeat - trance - glitchbreak remixes. It is such a diverse album at the same time a great continuous listen. Just an amazing release, a worthy continuation of last year's forgotten future album that won the poll here. I agree with timeisart that the Infinati release is also stands out for its uniqueness.

 

I don't know about you all, but I want to be surprised as opposed to hear just another version of the typical melodies and beats... and these two albums definitely feature lots of original ideas and sounds.
