Hey guys, I'm experimenting with different formats for these new weekly release lists without the polls (there will now be monthly polls instead). I thought separating the releases by genre was a good idea, but should I get rid of the spoilers and just display the bandcamp players by default? or any other ideas on how these should look?

I like it like this a lot more, I must say. The spoilers are a good idea imo because you don't have to scroll down to find what you want to look at, it's very neat like that.

Ok I agree, although I wish I could remove the word "spoiler" and just have the "show" button but whatever. Also this could lead to the echo chamber effect increasing if you never open the spoilers of your least favorite genres, so you have to promise to try some of everything

 

With sorting by genre like this, keep in mind that since I'm not able to listen to each release thoroughly, I might occasionally mislabel a release based on what the artist's previous works sounded like, so please tell me the correct genre when that happens.

 

Edit: case in point with that Aythar release, I thought it would be ambient but after hearing it, it's more like psybient/psychill or even chillgressive.
