Shpongle 59 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Solid release, but nothing spectacular in my opinion, it just feels like i'm listening to Ott, too many "familiar" sounds overall...still enjoyable though 1 Jatab reacted to this

Lorn 74 Report post Posted April 14, 2016 Solid release, but nothing spectacular in my opinion, it just feels like i'm listening to Ott, too many "familiar" sounds overall...still enjoyable though Unfortunately, this new album by Globular is just a bit to trippy for me. Perhaps its my old age.

This tracks from Aes Dana is killer. Why haven't I heard it until today? 1 Jatab reacted to this

andorra 117 Report post Posted May 12, 2016 There was some talk about Spatialize's first album 'Dryad's Bubble' on other topic and had to press play on that immediately. Have to say that this sounds pretty timeless! 2 yiannis and Geoglyph reacted to this
yiannis 201 Report post Posted May 12, 2016 Black Sabbath - Sabotage As great as I remembered it. Not all of it is "downtempo" though. 1 Shpongle reacted to this
Shpongle 59 Report post Posted May 13, 2016 Black Sabbath - Sabotage As great as I remembered it. Not all of it is "downtempo" though. Didn't know you liked Black Sabbath pretty good album, but nothing beats "Paranoid" we should have a "General Music" thread to be honest 1 yiannis reacted to this
yiannis 201 Report post Posted May 13, 2016 Didn't know you liked Black Sabbath pretty good album, but nothing beats "Paranoid" we should have a "General Music" thread to be honest Yes, I do like most of their albums. My favourite is probably Master of Reality, but the first seven are all great, as well as the Dio albums and Headless Cross. I saw them live in 2005 and they were quite good, though way, way past their prime. The General Music thread sounds like a great idea. 1 Shpongle reacted to this

Have to say that this sounds pretty timeless! Yeah, this is great! A combination of 90s and contemporary downtempo with Ozric-influenced atmospherics. Love the keyboard solos. yiannis 201 Report post Posted May 18, 2016 Slowly making my way through Visionary Shamanics' downtempo releases. Had a listen to this: which was OK, now playing this: which is quite good. Kind of swampy (?) in places.
