Simon Dale talks about his experience with natural building in the UK
A brief interview with our friend Simon Dale talking about his experience with truly low cost, low impact natural building with local materials. Apologies for audio quality, we realise the music can be disturbing and that it differs greatly on different audio setups. Unfortunately this cannot be changed.

Growing up in the wild hills of the Pacific Northwest, it seems like SunRay was always building something. His favorite source of inspiration and materials is the woods around him, "God's Hardware Store" as he calls it. When working on a project it is not uncommon to see him pick up a saw and head off into the woods looking for the right piece of wood to present itself. If he says anything, he'll mumble "I'm going shopping."

Hi,

There a concept called earthship, invented by an impressive guy, Mickeal Reynolds. Here is a film, Garbage warrior, about his story, and battle against Babylon:

I have friends who build those in Senegal, and who is building one in Dordogne, France as a participatory project. It's going to be great!

Enjoy
