Of course the legends Carbon Based Lifeforms will win this week's poll.. the hype is real and justified.. great album. Dodecahedron & Equilibrium are my jams

 

Sufi's Life is very impressive as well, excellent psybient especially for a debut album (although he's released lots of tracks on compilations in the past).

 

Rildrim was a nice surprise this week, his style reminds me of Krusseldorf a lot, very chill psybient with some soft glitch/idm elements added.. check it out.

 

and GreatOwl's 2nd album is interesting as well.

 

I'm sure AstroPilot's will be good too but I haven't given it a listen yet.

I was all set to add Noya Project & Beat D Fender - 32 [trinta e dois buracos] to this list since those artists have made psybient/chillgressive in the past, but this single is too uptempo to even call chillgressive, definitely psytrance.

 

Thomas Woodham (formerly Rooh) is somewhere between ambient, downtempo, psybient, rock, industrial, etc. I couldn't decide so I just threw it under downtempo.

The AstroPilot album is quite good, I think it's slightly freer than his previous work.

 

Just listening to the Rildrim album. First time I've paid any attention to this guy and I must say I regret it. This album at least may not be particularly psychedelic but the sense of melancholy it exudes is just so sweet. Perfect autumn music, which is just the kind of weather we have here atm.

Agreed, I love this album. The title track, Talking To The Trees, and Crimson Lizard are all fantastic.
