The Makyo EP is good; the vocals are a bit different from what he usually uses.

 

Hidden Light is also very good, although I like some tracks more than others.

 

I'll listen to the Key-G album, when the time comes for some psydub.

Makyo is good as always, this got me excited that maybe Gio changed his mind about not producing under the Makyo alias anymore, but this album is actually just older material that was unreleased until now. Glad to know that he is still planning to release the Jinniyah album eventually though.

 

Hidden Light is excellent, especially loved AuroraX's track

 

Woob is hardly downtempo but it wouldn't fit anywhere else. "ラン" is a stormer of a track, Paul is very good at evoking a futuristic cyberpunk feel in this new synthwave style of his. (btw I know nothing about this genre, Woob is the only artist that I care enough about to post here)

Listening now, I actually like it more than Ott's last couple of full-length offerings.

 

I find it a bit surprising that someone outside the UK can produce psybub equal to that of the English masters. Surprising in a good way, of course

it's great to see activity in this news post, i wish we had that more often, sharing best findings, discussing releases and so on.

 

i am a big fan of Makyo, while it is not his best work (well it is an old material), i think tracks 2 and 3 are great !
