After spending some time with Shpongle's Codex VI, I can say that I am impressed by it. Empty Branes, which was the first track to be put up on bandcamp, might've set my expectations a little too high but after subsequent listens the rest of the album is really growing on me now. Strange Planet is also a great track.

I'm late finding Dirty Hippy's album but this is some great psybass. edit: like, seriously fucking great! this will go nicely with Grouch In Dub when it finally releases.

Be Jam sounds promising from the little bit that I sampled of it, will have to check this out more.

Samford also sounds like a promising new artist.

Shpongle's Codex VI very good album in my opinion, and i am also impressed by the number of purchases on bandcamp. My housemate ordered a vinyl, so we will try it soon on a technics setup.

For me Codex VI is a proper Shpongle album in the sense that I didn't quite get it first listen, but it's getting better with each subsequent one. I like it quite a bit at this stage but I haven't given it a proper catalysed listen yet.
