I know I'm late posting the Steve Good album but it's worth it, great ambient from the man behind Puff Dragon

 

Cosmic Replicant always makes quality tunes

 

Ovoid is good psybass with a little more drum and bass influence than usual

 

Sleepy Koala & VA - Divine Frequencies - The Mother Goddess also good psybass.

Soundcloud helps a lot for this, most of the time artists will list their country there, but if nothing's there then I'll check discogs or facebook or try to find some kind of clue through a Google search.

 

If all that fails then maybe I'll just put the country of the label they released on as the best guess, or just put Unknown, but that's only happened once that I can recall.

I was wondering that myself, arakoon. I tried searching but only found that the label is based out of Norway, and the Yggdrasil/Kurbeats guys are Swedish so I'm not sure if they're related or not.

 

But I agree those guys make great music.. Prose Edda by Yggdrasil is one of my all time favorite albums.
