I am now back from my vacation in Japan from May 12 - June 2 so I will try to post all the releases I missed while I was gone over the next few days until I finally get back to the most current releases, bear with me for a bit.

Easing back into psy downtempo after a long period of goa and Ozric-related madness. Bluetech's albums is nice as usual. Enjoyed Khooman's album quite a bit too.

also loving Bluetech's latest, and I agree that Khooman's is good. Folding Time is pretty good for what I assume is a debut release, reminds me of something Grouch might make. also Nanosphere makes some nice psybreaks/psybass.

 

Japan was amazing, thanks for asking. I love everything about that country apart from being overly crowded at times. I did end up making it to the Tsuyoshi Suzuki 6 hour long set at Koenji Cave but didn't survive the full 6 hours though lol, ended up dipping out around 3:00 AM. For the record I wasn't particularly tired at the time and probably could've stayed the whole time, it's just that the venue was the size of a small apartment and it started to get a bit too claustrophobic as more people started packing in. It started out really cool with more acidy goa tracks (including a remix of Hallucinogen's LSD) but he switched to more commercial psytrance bangers around the time that I left. I bet he eased up with more chill tracks near the end, bummed that I couldn't stay to see that but that was on my last night in Japan so I had to call it at some point since I had to catch a flight the next day. I did get to shake his hand though so I was pretty happy with that.

 

anyway back to business as usual, still currently behind schedule with the release updates but I should be caught up by early next week or so.
