I invite you to discuss and highlight the music releases that have been announced this week in psybient.org news.

 

You are very welcome to vote for your favourite, most 'interesting' album(s) and/or share your impressions and thoughts on the music.

i will be definetely listening to this two Beatfarmer - Cosmic Playground [ Self Released ] and Odiolab - Medieval [ BMSS Records]. I heard they are nice !

 

i also briefly listened yesterday to Simurg - Dem Bu Dem [ Self Released ] and enjoyed it

Could someone please explain to a dumb Estonian how can I access the Beat-D-Fender releases. It's always "new EP released" and such but I have never seen a place where I can actually purchase/download it :|

Ecometric - Self [ Self Released ] appears to be a mix-set on soundcloud only (i.e. basically a dj mix of original material).  And it's only mp3.

 

Is it a preview of an upcoming release?  Or have I missed where to buy it from bandcamp or elsewhere?

yeah seems like soundcloud only, at least that's all I could find. I thought it'd be worth including anyway though.

 

however I don't think soundcloud should be considered an "official" platform for releases, it's more like a showcase or portfolio of tracks. In the future the releases list will probably only contain bandcamp, beatport, junodownload, addictech, etc. releases.

I really enjoyed Frore & Shane Morris - Blood Moon, ambient goodness.

 

Also the Simurg release was delicate and beautiful.
